About this time 4 years ago I picked up Eva from Sam. Eva has been the best dog I have ever had. Eva already had a great foundation to build upon because of the time Sam puts into with his puppies. Sam was very accommodating with my schedule to pick her up. Eva is a sweet, loyal and dedicated GSD. I will be coming back to Red Rock K9 in the future. Thank you Sam.

The Right Dog. The Right Guidance.
Kar was the perfect match – backed by hands -on guidance and exceptional training.
I wanted to share my experience with my new GSD that I acquired from RRK9 which has been trained in obedience and Protection. When I picked up my 2 year old GSD I also went thru 6 hours of training myself with my dog. This included obedience and protection training and in both areas he responded with enthusiasm with understanding of the command given with his follow through actions. During the protection training he was put thru a new scenario he had not seen before and his response was even better than either myself or Sam at Red Rock K9 had expected.
Since having Kar for only two weeks I took him to PetSmart on a weekend which was very crowded. I sat Kar outside with myself and watch how he was handling the close proximity of people and other dogs. He was handling it well so I took him inside and he was a champion, handling all the commotion with people and dogs all around and still watching me for guidance.
If I could I would give Sam and RRK9 a much higher rating than 5 stars, but unfortunately 5 stars is all that is allowed. RRK9 is a top notch outfit and Sam is an expert with training of both dog and owner. He can turn an owner into a handler who can then continue working with his dog for many years to come.

The Difference Was Obvious Immediately
At just eleven weeks old, Heska arrived with structure, confidence, and a foundation that stood out right away.
Sam is great to work with. We picked up Heska two days after Christmas. He was very accommodating with the day and time. We could immediately tell he had wored with Heska exactly as he said. At eleven weeks old she was a very behaved puppy. Certainly still a puppy but she very clearly had been trained well. Heska has blended well with our other two dogs as is a wonderful addition to our family.

An Investment Worth Making
What started as hesitation quickly turned into complete confidence in the quality, care, and long-term vision behind Red Rock K9.
We’ve recently purchased a puppy from Red Rock K9 and we couldn’t be happier with our pup or the overall experience.
When we began looking at breeders we were very intrigued by RRK9, but we weren’t sure we were ready for the investment. As we continued to research and familiarize ourselves with RRK9 and then spoke with Sam over the phone, we realized this is EXACTLY the kind of investment we wanted to make in a dog who would become part of our family AND in a breeder who is dedicated to the health and preservation of the breed.
From the care, attention and training that goes into the dogs and pups, it is evident that Sam and his team are passionate and dedicated to producing the highest quality German Shepherds. Ready for Anything
From hiking and kayaking to calm public outings, Lexus proved early what a well-started German Shepherd should be.
We picked our pup, Lexus up when she was 10 weeks old. We were amazed with her foundation of training she came with. She is smart, sweet tempered, and eager to please. We picked her up in the time of the “Corona Virus”, Sam graciously went out of his way to give all of “Gina’s 10” an opportunity to do distance learning training. He has put together 15 video Training Challenge that has helped us build a solid foundation with our pup. (I’m currently on challenge 11, with each challenge Sam gives feed back on what we may need to “tweak” as a handler or just some good positive reinforcements of “great job”). It’s a wonderful experience for us as new pup owners to bond and learn together to grow that solid foundation that she came with.
Other things we LOVE about our Lexus is that she is always up for an adventure! She is quick to adapt for whatever we are doing, she’s been fishing and loved playing in the water, we have hiked where there was A LOT of people and other dogs and had NO issues with her, she’s been kayaking rode in the back and took a nap! She a perfect fit for our family!
If you are looking for the whole package in a dog, I recommend a Red Rock K9, Sam will exceed all of your expectations!!

Delivered Exactly What Was Promised
From puppy imprint training to ongoing support, the Red Rock K9 standard continued long after pickup.
Sam and the team at Red Rock K9 have been amazing. Once Hannah had graduated from RRK9’s puppy imprint training program and we were able to bring her home, it was instantly obvious the amount of dedication and hard work that Sam and RRK9 pour into each and every one of these pups. That hard work and dedication doesn’t stop once these pups leave their facility either. Sam has been extremely responsive to all of our questions, and has worked double time to create an on the fly training system during this social distancing period due to Covid-19. We have been more than happy in our investment with RRK9, and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a German Shepherd built on a solid foundation.
