Sam found us Shadow about 2 months ago. Sam did an amazing job finding us the perfect new family member! We already have 3 dogs we loved and Shadow fit right in with the family. He has been a great dog. Shadow goes almost everywhere with us. We can’t thank Sam enough for finding us Shadow. He really cares about his dogs and owners. Easier than any Puppy We Have Had

As first-time dog owners, we felt supported, informed, and excited every step of the journey.

A Dog That Just Understands

Titan bonded naturally with our special needs son and became an incredible fit for our family.

A Perfect Fit for Our Family

Two Red Rock K9 puppies, years apart – both exceptional.

We have obtained two puppies from Red Rock K9 at different times. Sam works hard to make sure puppies are given the very best start. He goes out of his way to help new owners be successful in continuing the training of their puppies. Sam has a real gift in his ability to understand and communicate with dogs. We feel so privileged to own our second Red Rock K9 puppy! Because I have a disability, I feel Sam has worked extra hard to ensure I have a puppy that can meet my needs. I am so grateful to him for his hard work, his kindness, and his dedication to both the dogs and the new owners. My Dakota will fit my needs perfectly. She came home with basic obedience skills and adapts well to new experiences–largely because of the excellent start she was given by Sam, Linsey, and their family. Best Dog I’ve Ever Owned

About this time 4 years ago I picked up Eva from Sam. Eva has been the best dog I have ever had. Eva already had a great foundation to build upon because of the time Sam puts into with his puppies. Sam was very accommodating with my schedule to pick her up. Eva is a sweet, loyal and dedicated GSD. I will be coming back to Red Rock K9 in the future. Thank you Sam.

The Right Dog. The Right Guidance.

Kar was the perfect match – backed by hands -on guidance and exceptional training.

I wanted to share my experience with my new GSD that I acquired from RRK9 which has been trained in obedience and Protection. When I picked up my 2 year old GSD I also went thru 6 hours of training myself with my dog. This included obedience and protection training and in both areas he responded with enthusiasm with understanding of the command given with his follow through actions. During the protection training he was put thru a new scenario he had not seen before and his response was even better than either myself or Sam at Red Rock K9 had expected.
Since having Kar for only two weeks I took him to PetSmart on a weekend which was very crowded. I sat Kar outside with myself and watch how he was handling the close proximity of people and other dogs. He was handling it well so I took him inside and he was a champion, handling all the commotion with people and dogs all around and still watching me for guidance.
If I could I would give Sam and RRK9 a much higher rating than 5 stars, but unfortunately 5 stars is all that is allowed. RRK9 is a top notch outfit and Sam is an expert with training of both dog and owner. He can turn an owner into a handler who can then continue working with his dog for many years to come.

The Difference Was Obvious Immediately

At just eleven weeks old, Heska arrived with structure, confidence, and a foundation that stood out right away.

Sam is great to work with. We picked up Heska two days after Christmas. He was very accommodating with the day and time. We could immediately tell he had wored with Heska exactly as he said. At eleven weeks old she was a very behaved puppy. Certainly still a puppy but she very clearly had been trained well. Heska has blended well with our other two dogs as is a wonderful addition to our family.
