I recently had the pleasure of bringing home a German Shepherd puppy from Red Rock K9, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Sam was incredibly patient, always answering my numerous questions with kindness and understanding. His dedication and knowledge were evident throughout the entire process.
The puppy I received shows that a lot of love and care has gone into raising him. He is fun, eager to learn, and enjoys being around both people and other animals. The crate training and potty training that Red Rock K9 provided made the transition to our home much smoother. It was clear that the puppy had a solid foundation, which has helped immensely.
Even after bringing the puppy home, Sam and his team have been fantastic, still answering any questions and providing needed guidance.
I wouldn’t want a German Shepherd from anyone else. The level of care and attention Sam and his team put into their puppies is truly exceptional. Thank you, Red Rock K9, for bringing so much joy into our home!

As a former LE K9 handler, rarely do you find someone like Sam and RRK9. Their breeding program is second to none. I can’t imagine obtaining a working GSD from someone other than RRK9 and Sam. It’s also not just about the type of work you’d expect. Sam provides training for those that are handicapped and in need of amazing working dogs for their specific needs. Enough said. The best GSD breeding program you’ll find across several states.

From the pictures, videos, training materials to the graduation day have been an experience you don’t find very often these days. The puppies that come from Red Rock K9 are the highest quality German Shepherds you can find! I should know, I have purchased two pups from Sam and Linsey! The amount of care these two put into their puppies to help them thrive and build a solid foundation is unmatched and it pays in dividends with your dog. Not only are their dogs beautiful, but due to the diligence they take to breed genetically top quality dogs, their temperaments are exemplary! I tell everyone who asks about my GSD, as long as I am able, I will always have a Red Rock K9 in my house. Life is just better with them!

An Easy, Stress-Free Transition
First time German Shepherd Owners
We bonded with her before we even met her
Well I don’t know where to start, but I’ll start with amazed. Our family has had such an amazing experience with getting a puppy through RedRock K9. We had never owned a GS before, so we were newbies and didn’t really know what to expect. From day one we got to watch the puppies grow on the puppy cam and watch a lot of their first, so I feel like our boys had a chance to bond even before we met her.
I feel like we kinda got off easy on the puppy experience, because she was so well trained and behaved once we brought her home, which provided both her and our family an easy transition. If we ever had a question, Sam got right back to us. Zoe is such a love able girl, but very protective. Which helps for the comfort of our home. We have several people coming in and out of our home and she treats everyone like family, but if someone comes to the door or our yard which she might not know, she’ll stand guard until she knows all is well.
We also, travel quite a bit throughout the year, so we choose to board with Red Rock K9, also. Zoe feels like it is her second home. They take such good care of her. We can not thank Sam and his family enough for such an amazing experience and family member. Can’t wait until our next Red Rock experience!!!
