Read More TestimonialsWe picked our pup, Lexus up when she was 10 weeks old. We were amazed with her foundation of training she came with. She is smart, sweet tempered, and eager to please. We picked her up in the time of the “Corona Virus”, Sam graciously went out of his way to give all of “Gina’s 10” an opportunity to do distance learning training. He has put together 15 video Training Challenge that has helped us build a solid foundation with our pup. (I’m currently on challenge 11, with each challenge Sam gives feed back on what we may need to “tweak” as a handler or just some good positive reinforcements of “great job”). It’s a wonderful experience for us as new pup owners to bond and learn together to grow that solid foundation that she came with.
Other things we LOVE about our Lexus is that she is always up for an adventure! She is quick to adapt for whatever we are doing, she’s been fishing and loved playing in the water, we have hiked where there was A LOT of people and other dogs and had NO issues with her, she’s been kayaking rode in the back and took a nap! She a perfect fit for our family!

We could immediately tell he had wored with Heska exactly as he said. At eleven weeks old she was a very behaved puppy. Certainly still a puppy but she very clearly had been trained well. ‘Kar’ with people, dogs and Protection Training
Read More TestimonialsI wanted to share my experience with my new GSD that I acquired from RRK9 which has been trained in obedience and Protection. When I picked up my 2 year old GSD I also went thru 6 hours of training myself with my dog. This included obedience and protection training and in both areas he responded with enthusiasm with understanding of the command given with his follow through actions. During the protection training he was put thru a new scenario he had not seen before and his response was even better than either myself or Sam at Red Rock K9 had expected.
Since having Kar for only two weeks I took him to PetSmart on a weekend which was very crowded. I sat Kar outside with myself and watch how he was handling the close proximity of people and other dogs. He was handling it well so I took him inside and he was a champion, handling all the commotion with people and dogs all around and still watching me for guidance.
If I could I would give Sam and RRK9 a much higher rating than 5 stars, but unfortunately 5 stars is all that is allowed. RRK9 is a top notch outfit and Sam is an expert with training of both dog and owner. He can turn an owner into a handler who can then continue working with his dog for many years to come.

I can say with all honesty “If your looking for a Good GSD look no further than RRK9 and their excellence in training of both the dog and the handler. Sam seems to have a way of finding the right dog for the right person, he sure did in my case.
Sam hooked me up with this great GSD and made it all work out including the training I am currently going through with Kar and Sam as my trainer. He is the best and I am glad that I made the choice to use RRK9, as there are a lot of dog breeders out there. But in my opinion, no one needs to look any further than Sam and RRK9.
It was well worth the 2900 mile round trip drive to receive hands on training from Sam. Kar is about 2 years old and really clued in and I am looking forward to many years of him teaching me what a good dog can really do.
