I had someone ask earlier if Chase made his long journey okay so I thought I better give an update.

While I don’t discount the fact that something could go wrong and I still say a prayer walking away; I wanted to give a little history and insight to our pups traveling by air โœˆ๏ธ in their crates.

And also must note that ironically car ๐Ÿš— rides are much more problematic for the pups.

RRK9 pups are usually between 10 and 11 weeks if they fly air cargo. By this time their crate acclimation time has had 5 weeks to build. Our system of doing this increase of time allows us to build trust with the pups and I can’t remember the last time I have had a pup have an “accident” in the crate during their training stay. (And I’m talking years ago if and when an accident occurred).

To let you in a little on my confidence level in the pups… The crate pad I use for shipping, I choose comfort and durability over a high absorbent material. I’m more concerned with bedding being chewed and ingested out of boredom during their unsupervised time on the plane.

So yes, Chase made the nearly 8 hour journey from the time he was placed in crate in the car ride there to the time his new owner got his hands on him…. ACCIDENT FREE. ๐Ÿ˜

This is the same report I get on all of the pups that travel by air… (some traveling longer periods) just as clean and freshly bathed ๐Ÿงผ from the time they departed RRK9.

It’s something I don’t give much thought to, but in talking with others I realize their surprise when I tell them about how RRK9 pups travel. ๐Ÿงณ

So I just thought I would share that YES ๐Ÿ™Œ he made it to his home ๐Ÿก with no problem.
