🎓 Congratulations to our final graduating class of 2026!

What a way to close out the year.

The past couple of months have been a whirlwind, with three litters overlapping one after another and countless hours poured into raising them well. From their daily care and safety to the structure and consistency behind their training, we’ve poured an incredible amount of time, energy, and heart into these pups.

We love what we do, and watching all of that work come together is incredibly rewarding.

We’re excited to follow the journey of the puppies already committed to their new homes, and a few opportunities remain within this graduating class.

What does a Red Rock K9 puppy leave knowing? More than you might think. 👀

Our puppy program isn’t about teaching a few commands for a video. It’s about building a foundation that owners can actually take home and build on.

Before our puppies leave Red Rock K9, we’ve put intentional work into:

🐾 Crate training & complete potty training at our location
🐾 Sit & down — learning the action, then building reliability
🐾 Here — developing a strong foundation for recall
🐾 Place — learning to settle and remain where directed
🐾 Wait & stay — introducing impulse control and building duration
🐾 Basic position — the foundation of a static heel position
🐾 Focused heeling — learning to move with the handler while staying engaged
🐾 Leash work — incorporating skills they already understand so the leash becomes something they know, trust, and enjoy
🐾 Confidence & handler engagement woven throughout the entire process

And that’s the part that matters most.

We’re not simply checking commands off a list. We’re teaching puppies how to learn, how to engage with their handler, and how to confidently work through what’s being asked of them.

That’s why we call it a foundation.
