It’s been a remarkable summer at Red Rock K9. ☀️🐾

What would normally unfold over the course of an entire year came together in a single season—three litters raised, developed and trained, with a whole lot poured into every one of them.

Now, the summer crew is getting smaller.

Two of these boys head home this weekend to begin their next chapter, while the remaining puppies get a little more time to enjoy summer at Red Rock K9—and apparently help supervise the mowing. 😂

Behind the fun are countless hours of training, development and preparation for the families waiting on the other side.

Gee × Lord Training Update 🐾

The Gee × Lord puppies are progressing well through their training and are getting ready to enter the testing phase of our program!

At this stage, we’re continuing to strengthen their understanding of basic commands while beginning to layer in new challenges—including leash work paired with exercises they already know.

As we move toward testing, our focus continues to be on engagement, confidence, response to the handler, and consistency as the expectations begin to increase.

This is where the foundation we’ve been building starts getting put to work—and where we begin preparing each puppy for what comes next.

We’re excited about the progress of this group and looking forward to sharing more as they work toward graduation.

Ever seen a puppy smile? 😄

Meet Orion from our Lord × Uli litter. I’d say he’s enjoying training just as much as we are!

These puppies are officially in full swing with their foundation training program, and they’re making us proud every single day.

✔️ Confident in their daily routine
✔️ Extending their crate time with success
✔️ Reliably using their outdoor potty area for potty breaks
✔️ Building confidence with sit and down
✔️ Learning a solid basic position, both stationary and in heel movement
✔️ Beginning their place command
✔️ Actively recalling during each training session

It’s always rewarding to watch these young pups gain confidence as they begin to understand what is being asked of them. Every day builds another layer of the foundation they’ll carry with them for years to come.

A few of these exceptional puppies are still available, and we’re excited to watch them continue progressing through their training program as they work toward graduation. This afternoon the kids were outside pulling weeds. I can’t say it was anyone’s favorite activity, but they were getting it done. 😊

I let Uli out, and instead of running off to do her own thing, she wandered over and quietly laid down beside the kids. From a distance, I caught this moment and couldn’t help but smile.

Linsey and I talk about this often. We encourage our kids to learn how to work with dogs, care for them, and understand the responsibility that comes with them. Not because we expect them to do what we do one day, but because we know the experiences matter.

To our kids, having dogs around has always been normal. Someday they’ll probably realize that not everyone grew up that way.

One day they’ll have dogs of their own, and we hope they’ll look back on moments like these—the companionship, the trust, and the simple joy of growing up alongside good dogs.

Long after the chores are forgotten, we hope it’s moments like these that become the memories that last a lifetime. ❤️ ...

The Uli × Lord puppies are growing nicely and making great progress as we prepare for a fun summer of training and development.

They are now confidently using the doggy door and have remained accident-free in their puppy area — a great early milestone as good habits begin to take shape.

We’re also seeing their confidence grow as they experience new areas, new people, and more daily interaction. Today, they thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my kids after eating, and several were sound asleep by the end of it.

Next up, we’ll begin introducing crates. We’re prepared, ready, and excited to continue building the foundation these puppies will carry with them into their future homes.

🚨 The G x Lord litter has arrived! 🐾

We are excited to announce that G x Lord welcomed 5 beautiful puppies — 3 females and 2 males.

In these photos, you’ll see one of G’s newborn puppies, followed by one of Uli x Lord’s puppies being held. These two Lord litters are only 12 days apart, giving us the rare opportunity to raise two exceptional breedings side by side this summer.

This is one of those moments where timing, pedigree, and opportunity all line up.

With both Uli x Lord and G x Lord now on the ground, we have two outstanding Lord breedings here at Red Rock K9 at the same time. For families who have been waiting for the right opportunity to reserve a trained Red Rock K9 puppy, this is it.

Lord II Anrebri is a rare and accomplished dog, holding his IGP3 working title along with the prestigious Český šampion krásy title — Czech Champion of Beauty. He became only the second sable German Shepherd in the Czech Republic to achieve that title, following a dog in his ancestry who earned the same honor 15 years earlier.

These litters bring together strong working-line genetics, proven character, correct structure, and the foundation we believe in so strongly here at Red Rock K9.

Now the fun begins — watching these puppies grow, build confidence, develop their foundations, and move toward becoming the next graduating classes of Red Rock K9 puppies.

Uli is so trusting with us moving and handling her pups.

From delivery day on, it becomes almost a collaborative effort — helping move pups while she is still delivering, placing them close to her, and gently reuniting the ones that have wandered a little too far from her or the heat source.

It is constant.

And you can tell there are moments where she almost feels relieved that we are there helping her manage it all.

But then, the second you pick a puppy up more than a few inches off the ground, she is right there beside you, making sure that puppy is okay.

That balance is one of the things I love most about a good mother.

🚨 The Lord × Uli litter has arrived safely. 🙏

📣 Official birth announcement coming in the upcoming days…

Pups and mama are doing great. We started watching cameras around 8 PM last night, and by midnight we were by her side. The first puppy arrived at 4 AM, and as of now, it looks like we are pretty much wrapped up.

📌Right now, we have two healthy litters on the ground at two very different stages.

The Vicki × Gap puppies are a little over 8 weeks old and are in the final stretch of their training. They stayed right on schedule today and just finished up a great session.

At the same time, the Lord × Uli puppies are brand new, settling in, nursing, and bonding with mama.

We will share pictures and updates as they become available and as it aligns with each litter’s care and training schedule. At every age, our time with the puppies is intentional. Sometimes that means hands-on training, sometimes it means observing, sometimes it means letting them rest, nurse, bond, or simply process the session.

We absolutely aim to highlight each puppy along the way, but we do that in a way that fits naturally into their care, development, and training. The priority is always what benefits the puppy in that moment.

In between all of that, we also have our adult dogs to care for, work, and keep on schedule.

Over the next couple of weeks, we are full speed ahead with the Vicki × Gap puppies as they finish their training and prepare for graduation from our training program.

Thank you all for understanding. We are excited to share more soon.

But for now… I’m going to try to sleep. 😴 ...

🎓 Congratulations to the Uli × Lord Graduating Class! 🎉

Today we celebrate six incredible puppies as they officially graduate from Red Rock K9’s Puppy Training Program.

It’s been a privilege watching each of these puppies grow in confidence, develop a love for learning, and build a solid foundation for the future.

Ranger will be staying with us a little longer. With our busy schedule over the next couple of weeks, we’ve decided to keep him in training a bit longer before celebrating his own graduation. We’ll be sharing more of Ranger’s journey soon!

Our older Uli × Lord puppy met one of the younger Gee × Lord puppies for the first time today. They’re just 12 days apart, and it’s always fun to watch the “big kids” welcome the next generation. ❤️🐾

Ever seen a puppy smile? 😄

Meet Orion from our Lord × Uli litter. I’d say he’s enjoying training just as much as we are!

These puppies are officially in full swing with their foundation training program, and they’re making us proud every single day.

✔️ Confident in their daily routine
✔️ Extending their crate time with success
✔️ Reliably using their outdoor potty area for potty breaks
✔️ Building confidence with sit and down
✔️ Learning a solid basic position, both stationary and in heel movement
✔️ Beginning their place command
✔️ Actively recalling during each training session

It’s always rewarding to watch these young pups gain confidence as they begin to understand what is being asked of them. Every day builds another layer of the foundation they’ll carry with them for years to come.

A few of these exceptional puppies are still available, and we’re excited to watch them continue progressing through their training program as they work toward graduation. Over the coming weeks, they’ll continue building confidence, sharpening their skills, and preparing for the day they graduate and head home with their new families. This afternoon the kids were outside pulling weeds. I can’t say it was anyone’s favorite activity, but they were getting it done. 😊

I let Uli out, and instead of running off to do her own thing, she wandered over and quietly laid down beside the kids. From a distance, I caught this moment and couldn’t help but smile.

Linsey and I talk about this often. We encourage our kids to learn how to work with dogs, care for them, and understand the responsibility that comes with them. Not because we expect them to do what we do one day, but because we know the experiences matter.

To our kids, having dogs around has always been normal. Someday they’ll probably realize that not everyone grew up that way.

One day they’ll have dogs of their own, and we hope they’ll look back on moments like these—the companionship, the trust, and the simple joy of growing up alongside good dogs.

Long after the chores are forgotten, we hope it’s moments like these that become the memories that last a lifetime. ❤️ ...

The Uli × Lord puppies are growing nicely and making great progress as we prepare for a fun summer of training and development.

They are now confidently using the doggy door and have remained accident-free in their puppy area — a great early milestone as good habits begin to take shape.

We’re also seeing their confidence grow as they experience new areas, new people, and more daily interaction. Today, they thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my kids after eating, and several were sound asleep by the end of it.

Next up, we’ll begin introducing crates. We’re prepared, ready, and excited to continue building the foundation these puppies will carry with them into their future homes.

🐾 While many breeders focus on socialization, and many trainers offer training later, Red Rock K9 has built something different.

Every puppy we produce completes our structured RRK9 Puppy Training Program before joining their family, and every owner receives a clear path to continue that training at home.

Our puppies are introduced to early obedience, crate training, potty training foundations, handler engagement, confidence-building, structure, and real daily development during one of the most important learning windows of their lives.

That standard has become the heart of Red Rock K9.

We do not know of another German Shepherd kennel that has committed to training 100% of the puppies they produce before placement while also building a full owner-success system around what happens after the puppy goes home.

🚨 The G x Lord litter has arrived! 🐾

We are excited to announce that G x Lord welcomed 5 beautiful puppies — 3 females and 2 males.

In these photos, you’ll see one of G’s newborn puppies, followed by one of Uli x Lord’s puppies being held. These two Lord litters are only 12 days apart, giving us the rare opportunity to raise two exceptional breedings side by side this summer.

This is one of those moments where timing, pedigree, and opportunity all line up.

With both Uli x Lord and G x Lord now on the ground, we have two outstanding Lord breedings here at Red Rock K9 at the same time. For families who have been waiting for the right opportunity to reserve a trained Red Rock K9 puppy, this is it.

Lord II Anrebri is a rare and accomplished dog, holding his IGP3 working title along with the prestigious Český šampion krásy title — Czech Champion of Beauty. He became only the second sable German Shepherd in the Czech Republic to achieve that title, following a dog in his ancestry who earned the same honor 15 years earlier.

These litters bring together strong working-line genetics, proven character, correct structure, and the foundation we believe in so strongly here at Red Rock K9.

Now the fun begins — watching these puppies grow, build confidence, develop their foundations, and move toward becoming the next graduating classes of Red Rock K9 puppies.

Uli is so trusting with us moving and handling her pups.

From delivery day on, it becomes almost a collaborative effort — helping move pups while she is still delivering, placing them close to her, and gently reuniting the ones that have wandered a little too far from her or the heat source.

It is constant.

And you can tell there are moments where she almost feels relieved that we are there helping her manage it all.

But then, the second you pick a puppy up more than a few inches off the ground, she is right there beside you, making sure that puppy is okay.

That balance is one of the things I love most about a good mother.

Trusting enough to let us help.

🚨 The Lord × Uli litter has arrived safely. 🙏

📣 Official birth announcement coming in the upcoming days…

Pups and mama are doing great. We started watching cameras around 8 PM last night, and by midnight we were by her side. The first puppy arrived at 4 AM, and as of now, it looks like we are pretty much wrapped up.

📌Right now, we have two healthy litters on the ground at two very different stages.

The Vicki × Gap puppies are a little over 8 weeks old and are in the final stretch of their training. They stayed right on schedule today and just finished up a great session.

At the same time, the Lord × Uli puppies are brand new, settling in, nursing, and bonding with mama.

We will share pictures and updates as they become available and as it aligns with each litter’s care and training schedule. At every age, our time with the puppies is intentional. Sometimes that means hands-on training, sometimes it means observing, sometimes it means letting them rest, nurse, bond, or simply process the session.

We absolutely aim to highlight each puppy along the way, but we do that in a way that fits naturally into their care, development, and training. The priority is always what benefits the puppy in that moment.

In between all of that, we also have our adult dogs to care for, work, and keep on schedule.

Over the next couple of weeks, we are full speed ahead with the Vicki × Gap puppies as they finish their training and prepare for graduation from our training program.

Thank you all for understanding. We are excited to share more soon.

But for now… I’m going to try to sleep. 😴 ...
